This Sangiovese has a glistening strawberry plum color. There is a great nose of raspberry and blackberry, followed by the taste of dried bing cherries, and a light oak toast. Although still young, this wine is already showing the smoothing of its typical Sangiovese edges. This wine goes well with a vast range of foods ... italian sausage pizza, mozzarella di bufala tomato salad, a chilled mix of watermelon and feta. This is a fun wine to pair with since it compliments so many delicious foods.
