WINERY

RIVINO Winery is located between the Russian River and Highway 101 in Mendocino County. Our facility truly is a boutique, and although small, we have ensured that all our equipment and processes are of the highest levels possible. From the beginning of harvest through the end of bottling we ensure that the grapes and juice are minimally handled, and only in the gentlest of ways. In the months prior to harvest we begin exploring and selecting vicinities of the vineyard that we believe are of special character. We then monitor the grapes daily to ensure that we harvest within our desired window. All our grapes are picked at daybreak and transported via tractor to our winery. Once there, the grape to wine transformation begins.

The photograph below is of our very first bin of Viognier that we crushed at the beginning of the 2008 season. The day it all started!
